A twenty minute drive away is Port Isaac which is featured in the television series Doc Martin. Padstow is a 30 minute drive and the fishing village boasts many restaurants and shops and of course is home to Rick Steins Fish Restaurant but book early as it is very popular.

Newquay is 45 minutes away and if you enjoy surfing this is the place to try out a few waves. St Michael’s Mount is an hour and a quarter away and when the tide is out you can walk across the causeway but fear not when the tide is in, a boat carries you back and forth. The Eden Project is an hour’s drive away and is well worth a visit.
