The local area has an abundance of wildlife (red squirrel, pine martin, Scottish wild cat and osprey), and for birdwatching there are 2 RSPB reserves close by at Loch Ruthven and Loch Garten.
From Inverness & the Black Isle you can take a cruise out to sea and look for dolphins. There are numerous golf courses and places to fish. You can take a walk along a forest trail, go cycling or climb a mountain. Go horse riding for a day by Loch Ness. You are spoilt for choice!
