Stable Cottage & Hideaway Huts are situated at Huntercrook just to the south of Hadrian's Wall.

Our first Hideaway Hut, “The Bothy“, is located in the quiet paddock adjacent to Stable Cottage.
This is a Grande Roulotte providing exclusive accommodation for 2 guests.
The open-plan living area comprises a comfortable seating area and Culshaw Bell kitchenette, opening on to veranda.
Stretching across northern England, just to the South of Hadrian’s Wall, The Stanegate is the Roman road linking Corbridge, Vindolanda and Carlisle.
To travel between Seal Cottage in Hexham, Stable Cottage and Hideaway Hut at Huntercrook, (and indeed our own home in the hamlet of Thorngrafton) one must follow this ancient route built before The Wall.
