Arboyne House, Eardisley, Herefordshire

Set in the heart of historic 'black and white' Eardisley village, 18th Century Arboyne House offers characterful accommodation for one to ten guests - a choice of Holly Lodge (up to 6 guests), The Bakehouse (2 guests) or The Panel Room (2 guests). All our accommodation has super fast broadband, TV and comfy beds with crisp white bed linen, towels and toiletries. We welcome families and have a cot and high chair available for your use. We have courtyard parking, a large peaceful garden with views over to the Welsh mountains, and space to store your cycles, canoes, walking boots and fishing tackle. Step next door to a very popular 'gastro' pub or opposite to a cafe/bookshop - and just a minute to a well stocked village shop.

Our self catering accommodation:

HOLLY LODGE, accessed up external oak stairs, has the flexibility of two or three bedrooms to best suit your needs: a romantic 4 poster room, a smaller twin/single room and optional 'oak' room with twin/super king bed and en suite WC. There is a spacious family shower room and both the large living room and well equipped kitchen/diner have views looking out beyond the village to the countryside.

The Victorian BAKEHOUSE, once bustling with bread making, is now a peaceful cottage which still features the 12 bushel Bread oven in the living room. Upstairs is a beamed super king/twin bedroom with shower and basin, a kitchen and a WC.

This is 'cider orchard and mistletoe' country which has wonderful views, unspoilt countryside, gardens, tea shops, local produce and good food. Do come and explore the area - Hay on Wye, Hereford and Kington are easily accessed on 'A' roads. The Welsh Marches are steeped in history but also offer a range of activities from canoeing to karting, pony trekking to jousting, clay shooting to flying - or come and relax and retreat. Whatever your style of holiday, we look forward to giving you a warm welcome.
