The large farmhouse kitchen features an Aga and a small sitting area, while a separate dining room provides seating for ten.
Merman Farm offers six bedrooms in total, three of which are en-suite, along with a separate family bathroom, ensuring plenty of space and convenience for larger groups.
Tideswell itself sits within the Peak District National Park and is well known for its impressive church dedicated to St John the Baptist, often referred to as “The Cathedral of the Peaks”. The village is also noted for its well dressing traditions and carnival wakes. The surrounding area is ideal for walking and outdoor pursuits, including cycling and climbing, with rugged peaks to the north and gentle hills and dales to the south. Millers Dale is just outside the village, and popular Peak District destinations such as Mam Tor, Castleton, Chatsworth and Bakewell are only a short drive away. The spa town of Buxton can also be reached in around 15 minutes.
