Hope cottage is situated in a quiet country lane in Totland, near the western tip of the Isle of Wight.

The sandy beaches of Totland and Colwell Bay are within
walking distance and the beach at Compton Bay (which is very good for surfing)
is just a short drive away.
The cottage is also a short walk away from small shops,
public telephone and the local public house which serves good food and welcomes
children. The Needles, Alum Bay and Tennyson Down (an area of outstanding
natural beauty) are all on the doorstep making this a marvellous walking area.
The Island has a wide range of eateries, whether it’s
tasty fish & chips when you arrive from the ferry, or fresh seafood and
simple salads from the beach shack at Steephill Cove. You are never far from a
child friendly pub that serves fresh local fish. Or for visit the Ventnor and
neighbouring Bonchurch offer some really special Island cuisine.
There’s an abundance of stuff for children to do around
the Island - Isle of Wight Zoo, Donkey Sanctuary, Blackgang Chine & Robin Hill
Adventure Park, Dinosaur Isle, Amazon World, The Isle of Wight Steam Railway.
