hospitality at this peaceful North Norfolk bed and breakfast retreat.
Ivy Cottage B&B is set on the outskirts of the
beautiful seaside village of Mundesley on the very popular North Norfolk Coast.
Only 20 minutes stroll from Mundesley centre and the blue flag beach, it offers
open farmland views to the rear.
North Norfolk has one of the most beautiful coastlines in
the UK. The wide beaches are perfect for sunbathers, swimmers and those looking
for plenty of space to play. The beach in Mundesley is a wonderful place to
relax where children can paddle safely in tidal pools.
Within a twenty miles radius from our village you will
find Norfolk's famous wide sandy beaches such as those at Holkham, Wells,
Brancaster - the setting for pop videos and movies. You can explore beautiful
small forests, saltmarshes and The Broads. And, of course, there is Norfolk's
capital, the fine City of Norwich.
As you travel around the area you will come across more
pretty villages such as Trunch, Southrepps, Northrepps and Overstrand, bustling
market towns (North Walsham, Aylsham, Cromer, Sheringham and Holt), secluded
sandy beaches (our nearest next to Mundesley is in Trimingham), a wealth of
fine medieval churches and acres of unspoilt countryside.
