Cairnbaan has twelve lovely and individual rooms, which
are equipped to a very high standard, plus a few little extras to help make
your stay that bit more special.
In recent times it has become fashionable for restaurants
to serve only locally sourced food that is in season. We find this amusing
because it’s all we have ever done.
Our local suppliers include Ormsary Estate, whose beef is
famous in this part of Scotland, tender lamb from Barbreck Farm, succulent pork
from Teritchigan farm and fresh game stalked by a chap called Winston
Churchill.
During its course from Ardrishaig northwards to Crinan
Loch, the Crinan canal passes through some of Argyll's most outstanding countryside,
and its 15 locks and 7 swing bridges provide added interest for visitors. For
the sporting guest, golf is available at the nearby Lochgilphead Golf Club.
