Chart House is only a five minute walk from the centre of Dorking town but enjoys panoramic views towards Glory Woods, an area of natural beauty. Our beautiful four acre garden includes an all-weather tennis court which you are most welcome to use. There is ample off street parking and we are a 15 minute walk from Dorking mainline railway station.

Chart House is a family home and we take pride in making your stay, be it for just one night or much longer, as warm and friendly as possible. We are open all year round and recommend prior reservations. There is a choice of rooms available; single, twin or double and offer continental or cooked breakfast. All rooms have individually controlled central heating, colour television with Freesat, WiFi connection and tea and coffee making facilities.

Dorking is an old 'coaching' town notably mentioned in Charles Dickens' Pickwick Papers, when he refers to the Duchess of Dorking. Sir Lawrence Olivier, the famous actor, was born in Dorking and the composer, Ralph Vaughan Williams, famous for the Leith Hill Music festival was also a Dorking man.
