Downing Holiday Cottage is a delightfully spacious self-catering
accommodation, most conveniently situated for visiting nearby Fountains Abbey,
a spectacular Yorkshire attraction. The cottage sleeps 5+ guests, and is
situated in Studley Roger, a pretty little village directly adjacent to
Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Park.
This historic cottage dates from the 18th century, and retains all it's
traditional charm. Exquisite features include an open fireplace, exposed beams
and hardwood floors, as well as a beautiful walled private garden.
Located on the outside of the tranquil Yorkshire cottage Ripon in
between the Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors. There are plenty of
activities for guests to enjoy including the many rolling hills to explore on
foot or by bike.
Pop into Ripon where guests can enjoy many attractions inlcuding Ripon
cathedral, or travel South to Harrogate where you can enjoy afternoon tea at
Betty's Tea Shop or further to Leeds and York where there are a plethora of
shops and restaurants.
