Potters Barn & Well Cottage offer self catering accommodation in
Gosforth, near Wasdale in Cumbria - a great location for a family break.
Just down the road from the self catering holiday cottages is a newly
refurbished children's play area and recreation ground and there are plenty of
lovely scenic walks nearby for you to explore the village and the local area.
Our holiday houses are ideally situated for walkers, with the whole of
the quieter western valleys close by and the great central fells in Wasdale and
Ennerdale. Dick, who knows the area well, is happy to discuss plans for
walking, with lots of routes to recommend for all ages and abilities.
The Lake District has much to offer and we are well placed for trips to
other Lake District areas - it's less than an hour's drive to Keswick and
Coniston and day trips are easily done to Windermere, Ambleside and Ullswater.
Of course the scenery on the drive is beautiful!
