The Railway Tavern offers hotel accommodation that has been in the same
family for four decades and is now run by Tom and Jan Dooner in Stratford,
London. The pubs friendly, family atmosphere attracts an eclectic mix of
customers.
The hotel has nine rooms, all of which are en-suite, comprising three
‘doubles’ and six ‘twins’. The staff are on duty at the hotel around the clock,
providing a full breakfast, lunch and dinner service in our conservatory
restaurant, which is situated on the ground floor of the hotel itself.
100 yards from The Railway Tavern Hotel front door you will find the
famous Theatre Royal Stratford East. This is adjacent to a four screen cinema
located in Theatre Square, which also houses Stratford Circus, a venue for
fringe theatre and other ad hoc entertainment.
