The Benett Arms, Semley, Shaftesbury, Dorset
The Benett Arms is a traditional country guest house dating back to the seventeenth century, located in the peaceful village of Semley and set in the beautiful countryside of Shaftesbury on the Wiltshire/Dorset border.
At this B&B accommodation we have three rooms available; one twin and two doubles, one of which may be converted to a family room. Our three comfortable, clean rooms provide an ideal base for exploring the many nearby attractions.
Whether you’re after a quick lunchtime snack or a sumptuous three course feast The Benett Arms, has got it all. We have an extensive specials board available everyday in addition to the standard menu shown below.
Outdoors the pub is perfect for summer afternoons with its own pétanque piste, as well as the use of the large village green complete with pond. The "Common" is actually leased from Lord Talbot who owns most of the "common" land around here!
There are lots of things to do in and around the local area such as Shaftesbury and Gold Hill,  Old Wardour Castle, Stourhead House and Gardens and Longleat House and Safari Park.
