Tehidy Holiday Park offers camping, self catering caravans and cottages
in the peaceful, wooded and landscaped Tolskithy valley which is just
outside of Redruth. The holiday park has received many awards including
Regional Winner 2013, 2014 and 2015 - Top 100, David Bellamy Gold
Conservation Award, Best Holiday Caravan and Lodge Site in UK 2014 and
Best Small Site in UK 2012. With wonderful views of the surrounding
countryside and set in the famous and historic tin mining area of
Cornwall it provides a relaxing base from which to explore Cornwall’s
spectacular coastline, sandy beaches and premier tourist attractions.
Within the holiday park there is a children's play area with trampoline,
swings, table tennis and a climbing frame. The park has a shop/off
licence, payphone, a games room (log cabin) with tables for pool and
football and a television. There are environmental and tourist
information displays. The modern shower block is equipped with a
launderette with automatic washing machines, tumble driers and ironing
facilities and a dish washing room.
The park also has wigwams for guests looking for a glamping holiday. All
our wigwams have comfortable seating which can be easily converted into
raised sleeping platforms. The fully insulated cabins have heating,
lighting, electric sockets, Freeview TV, fridge freezer, microwave,
kettle and storage boxes. Outside there is a decked area with lighting,
log seats, a picnic bench and BBQ. A communal cooking shelter, drinking
water and rubbish/ recycling facilities are close by.
Tehidy Holiday Park in Cornwall is a great base with a prime, central
