The Middle House is a Grade I Listed building just a short drive from Royal Tunbridge Wells, in Mayfield High Street.

The house was originally built for the financier, Sir Thomas Gresham, Keeper of the Privy Purse to her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 1st. A private residence until the late 1920’s, The Middle House is now the home of an old world pub, impressive restaurant and small but cosy hotel.
The 1000 year old village of Mayfield lies ten minutes south of the Spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells. Centrally located it has London, Brighton, Eastbourne, Gatwick Airport and Canterbury within one hour.
