Footshill House is an Edwardian Village House in the village of Quidhampton, on the outskirts of the Cathedral city of Salisbury.
The small market town of Wilton lies a similar distance to the west. Footshill House is set in pleasant gardens and has private off road parking. In good weather guests are welcome to use the garden, and we are happy to serve a "pot of tea or coffee" on the terrace on arrival.
The area is ideal for walking, horse riding, fishing and cycling. Salisbury Race Course, and South Wilts Golf Course are just a five minute drive from Footshill House, plus a pay and play nine hole golf course near by.
Salisbury has an excellent Theatre, Cinema and City Hall, providing first class entertainment. the city has a great many good pubs and restaurants to choose from. Quidhampton has a regular bus service to and from Salisbury and Wilton, and taxis are readily available.
There are two village pubs nearby, serving good food and real ales in warm and friendly surroundings. The White Horse Inn is a short walk from Footshill House and the Victoria and Albert is in the nearby village of Netherhampton under a mile away.
