The Hotel Port Dinorwic, Y Felinheli, Bangor, Gwynedd
The Hotel Port Dinorwic offers a range of guest accommodation to suit all tastes and requirements.
Situated on the banks of the Menai Straits on the outskirts of Y Felinhelim we can boast some of the most beautiful panoramic views in the area along with provided guests with a warm and friendly atmosphere. We offer a range of activities both on the premises and off, from relaxing in our indoor heated swimming pool and sauna, to hiking and rambling in the natural beauty of The Snowdonia National Park.
Our lounge is designed as a quieter area in which to relax and chat, with a small reading selection and computer for internet access. The room is luxuriously appointed, with a large Chinese carpet and boudoir grand piano.
There are several historic photographs adorning the walls of the room, showing off some of the Port Dinorwic dock history. The bar is located within the main reception area and is fully stocked with all the well known brands and also a few local names.
The bar itself contains plenty of history. The bar top is constructed from one piece of slate, which started off life as a door step into the original manor house. The base of the bar is clad with slate, used previously as colour samples for the Dinorwic Slate Quarry.

We have a wide variety of flexible function areas to suit any requirements. In the past we have played host to almost all event types, from weddings and wakes to meetings and courses.
