With its own walled garden the cottage is situated in the heart of the secret North Pennines, in the village of Allenheads.
Within walking distance of the Allenheads Inn and other village amenities the cottage provides a fantastic base within which to explore the surrounding countryside.
Hadrian’s Wall, Kielder, Hexham and the Lake District are all a short distance away. The area is famous for its beautiful walks and cycle rides, indeed Allenheads is halfway on the C2C cycle route from Whitehaven to Sunderland.
