Symondsbury Manor, Symondsbury, Bridport, Dorset
Symondsbury Manor is a beautiful Tudor house set in 2.5 acres of grounds at Symondsbury near Bridport, Dorset.
This self catering property is right in the heart of the village, standing behind the church and the rectory. There are superb views over the surrounding hills and countryside from the walled garden.
Cosy and comfortable inside, Symondsbury Manor is decorated in a mixture of traditional and contemporary styles.
The village of Symondsbury is a great base from which to explore Dorset whether by car, bicycle or public transport.
A stream wanders through the village coming from a spring that is believed to have healing properties.
An old road leads from the sea through the village, that used to take pilgrims to the shrine of St Whit at Whitchurch Canonicorum and this ancient track as well as several other walks reveal the ancient face of the Dorset countryside.
