Kinloch, Isle Of  South Uist, Western Isles
Kinloch is located on the beautiful Hebridean Isle of South Uist and is an ideal base from which to explore the island and the other Western Isles.
We are more like a traditional lodge or guest house and can ensure comfortable guest rooms, a relaxing atmosphere and highly rated food.
Guests are welcome to sit back and relax in our sitting room. It is very comfortable and has an open fire. Guests are welcome to enjoy the extensive library of books and enjoy the views across the garden towards the East coast.
Breakfast is served in our dining room, where you have an option of a traditional cooked breakfast to suit or continental style if preferred. The eggs used are from our own free range hens and our bread is home made. Lunch is available by arrangement and an extensive and delicious dinner menu is available. I pride myself on providing high quality home cooking, based on best quality local ingredients simply prepared rather than putting fancy sauces on everything.

Kinloch stands on the shores of Loch Druidibeg, a reserve run by Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) on the island of South Uist in the Outer Hebrides (sometimes referred to as the Western Isles). This is a wonderful place to come to fish, bird watch, play golf, horse ride, walk, paint or just relax in a compelling natural environment. There is a much wider range of activities on the island than is appreciated. South Uist truly offers some of the finest wild Brown Trout and Sea Trout fishing in Europe.
