Situated on the edge of a conservation village in the centre of Norfolk, this fine listed 18th Century House is set in three acres of garden, half an hour from the unspoilt North-Norfolk coast. 

This is an ideal place from which to visit anywhere in Norfolk, whether towards King’s Lynn in the west of the county, or Norwich in the east. 

Many well known houses and garden open to the public are within easy reach including, of course, the great houses of Sandringham, Houghton, Holkham and Blickling.

trolling along mown paths through the wild garden is a delight in spring when the snowdrops, azaleas and bluebells are out: in summer you emerge from this spinney through a pergola covered in climbing roses and wisteria. 

The walled Italian garden was inspired by the desire to put to best use some beautiful inherited stone urns. Now artfully positioned in a parterre of lavender-filled, box-edged beds, the urns make an elegant finishing touch to a formal composition entirely suited to the period of the house.
