The Hyde Granary, Hancross, West Sussex
The Hyde Granary is a converted Victorian Granary with one double room en-suite situated in the old grain-store, and another double bedroom above the old stable.
The house has been lovingly converted and has many beautiful features including thick sandstone interior walls, Cornish slate entrance hall, minstrel’s gallery, and lovely natural light from the glass dome over the staircase.
Breakfast will be served downstairs, in the dining room. Margot will cook organic/free range breakfasts, with gluten free options available, including homemade preserves, freshly made bread, yogurt, fresh fruit and cereals. All food is sourced locally wherever possible.
We are located in the middle of Sussex. The Hyde Granary is situated close to Brighton, and Gatwick Airport, but not under the flight path! There are many National Trust houses and gardens to visit locally, such as Wakehurst, Nyman’s Gardens and Sheffield Park. The village is within walking distance where there is The Red Lion serving excellent food and The Royal Oak a more traditional pub.
