Village Farm Cottages, Alnwick, Northumberland
Perfectly located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on one of the finest unspoilt coastlines in Britain, the village of Shilbottle has a history dating back to Anglo-Saxon times.
Just three miles from Alnmouth and a similar distance from the historic market town of Alnwick, our two farms enjoy a tranquil rural setting and provide an ideal holiday base for exploring Northumberland.
Village Farm in the heart of the old village and Town Foot Farm on the northern edge of the village offer a superb choice of self catering holiday accommodation, ranging from modern Scandinavian-style chalets to traditional stone-built cottages and a 17th century farmhouse.
A ten minute walk across the fields from Village Farm, or a short drive, will take you to Town Foot Farm. The facilities at Town Foot Farm include Town Foot Riding Stables with both indoor and outdoor riding surfaces and off-road field tracks, and a coarse fishing pond.
Around About Britain offers you a directory of accommodation and places to eat and drink throughout Britain. We offer self catering, bed and breakfasts, guest houses, pubs and inns, hotels, hostels and camping & caravan sites throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
You can enquire or book direct with the owners via our website and view any special offers they currently have. Click on the More Information on any of the establishments to view their full details.
