All our self catering cottages are dog-friendly with wood-burning stoves and their own garden or patio.
Just a mile inland from Blackpool Sands, Slapton Sands, the Coastal Path and beautiful Start Bay, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the National Nature Reserve of Slapton Ley which our stream feeds. Perfect for winding down, walking, and exploring South Devon and the South Hams.
All five Watermill Cottages are tastefully converted from the former Mill building, barns and labourers’ cottages around the old mill-house, built in the 1750s, by the Gara river. They're a maximum 150 metres' distance of each other, and so ideal for combining for larger parties of family and friends. All together we can accommodate up to 23 people.
The area of the South Hams lies in the Southern-most part of Devon in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The coastline is stunning with beautiful beaches and wonderful walking. The countryside is rural, quiet and unspoilt.
