The Old Stables is set in the grounds of a lovely listed Old Rectory in the picturesque village of Great Cheverell, near Devizes in Wiltshire.
The village itself has a pub serving food, a Post Office/shop which sells basic provisions and a church. Surrounding villages provide small local shops and pubs whilst the Georgian market town of Devizes is 4 miles away providing larger supermarkets, banks, DVD hire shops, and an atmospheric Thursday morning market.
The city of Salisbury with its stunning cathedral is also a 40 minute drive and approx 20 miles away. We are 25 minutes from the ancient neolithic site of Avebury, and only half an hour from Longleat with it's famous safari park.
