Positioned in the peaceful village of Rodney Stoke at the foot of the Mendip Hills, convenient for Cheddar (3 miles) and the beautiful cathedral city of Wells (4 miles).
The closest large cities are Bristol and Bath, less than 1 hour’s drive across the Mendips.
The village of Rodney Stoke has remained little changed over the years. The church is 11th Century and well supported, as is the local pub, both within easy walking distance from the cottage.
The area is popular with walkers and cyclists. The Mendip Way passes close by. There are many other designated walks over the Mendips and south to Glastonbury and the Somerset Levels.
