Chalet 6 was originally built in the 1970s and offers self catering accommodation for up to 3 people in a stunning area of Scotland.

The Chalet has been completely refurbished and although it retains much of the character of the original building, it is no longer designed to sleep 6 people, as it was prior to this. 

The Chalet makes for a very comfortable stay for two people, but we can provide a chair bed with prior arrangement for a third person/child. Outdoors there is a small garden area with a rotary dryer and private parking space.

Wormadale is on the West side of Shetland (the sunny side), only 15 minutes from Lerwick by car, and is also on a main bus route. 

The scenery in the west of Shetland is some of the most beautiful and although walking or cycling is the best way to enjoy the scenery, a car ride can take you quickly to any other area of Shetland. 

Five minutes’ walk up the road and you are at the Westings Hotel, which also has stunning views over the South Whiteness Voe. A few minutes’ drive heading west takes you to the Hjaltastayn Jewellery and a couple of minutes further on you will come to the Weisdale Water Mill and Bonhoga Gallary, which also has a coffee shop.
