A charming Victorian character cottage in a tranquil setting, yet close to the high street with its range of shops, pubs and cafes, and good bus service. Green Chantry overlooks St. Dubricius, the ancient parish church and beyond to the wooded combes of Exmoor.
This self catering cottage is furnished in the country style with pretty fabrics, polished wooden floors & richly coloured rugs. It has an inglenook style fireplace with a ‘mock’ wood burning stove to give that extra feeling of cosiness. There is a small sun-trap garden with wrought iron furniture for a relaxed ‘al fresco’ meal. Soft outdoor cushions, a tablecloth and a garden umbrella are provided for extra comfort. The cottage is heated throughout by modern night storage heaters which can be used as needed.

 
The holiday cottage comprises of sitting/dining room with television and dvd. The fully fitted galley kitchen is perfectly adequate for holiday cooking! It has a washer/drier (essential if the weather is wet), fridge/freezer, microwave etc and a substantial electric cooker with a double oven and grill. Green Chantry sleeps 4 in one double and one twin bedroom furnished with co-ordinating fabrics. The beautifully tiled bathroom has bath/basin/wc and power shower.
