The Bassets Acre Holiday Apartments are a group of 6 self catering holiday apartments within a Georgian house in Portreath, built by Lord Basset in 1872. We are just a short stroll from the beach, shops, pubs and restaurants. 

The house and its holiday apartments are sat within 1 acre of sub tropical gardens and make an ideal base for a family, couple or group of friends who want to explore this beautiful part of Cornwall.

We have 6 quality self catering apartments that have from 1 - 3 bedrooms. They have all been sympathetically and tastefully designed to keep the character of the house. All of the holiday apartments are well equipped and include all the modern home from home facilities you would expect from a self catering holiday home.

To the rear of the house is a magnificent old Cornish garden, the product of a century and a half of dedicated care and which, after a period of neglect, is being lovingly restored by the resident proprietors, who have owned Bassets Acre since the summer of 1978. Outdoors, we also have a heated swimming pool with air dome cover, table tennis, swings, playhouse, barbecues etc.

Portreath is a small friendly village nestling in a valley surrounded by National Trust countryside. It is ideal for walkers and cyclists as the coast to coast cycle path runs from Portreath to Devon. Many of Cornwall's attractions are also within easy reach.
