Fiorlin, Melrose, Scottish Borders

Fiorlin, Melrose, Scottish Borders

Fiorlin is located in a quiet cul-de-sac close to the town centre, Fiorlin offers bed and breakfast accommodation in a detached house of character set within its own walls.

The bed and breakfast accommodation has been tastefully decorated throughout, with a blue and white theme and natural wood finishes and is completely self contained, offering good privacy for guests.

Nestled in the beautiful hills of the Scottish Borders, lies the historic town of Melrose. One of the most popular towns to visit in the Borders, Melrose is a small town which retains all the atmosphere and relaxed way of life everyone is looking for.

For those interested in history, there is of course the ancient Melrose Abbey, reputed resting place of Robert the Bruce's heart, as well as the nearby ruins of the Roman settlement of Trimontium. There are many historic houses in the area, including Abbotsford House and Floors Castle.

If you enjoy scenery, then a trip to Smailholm Towere or Scott's View (named after Sir Walter Scott) is well worth a visit, stop off on the way to discover the well hidden Victorian statue of William Wallace. There are many walks available amongst the hills and the Borders itself is a great place for a cycle holiday. Hillwalkers return year after year to climb to the top of the Eildons for a great view of the area, or if you're keen on rugby, remember that Melrose is home to the world famous 'Greenyards'.
