Light snacks and meals are served from 12-2.30 pm and 6-9.30 pm. Residents’ packed lunches can also be provided. 

The village is the ideal spot for walkers, cyclists and those who love fishing. Day permits are available at the hotel. Grizedale Forest is close by and has lots of nature trails.
