Duddon Villa is set within a stunning part of Cumbria, in the Western Lake District. Our large Victorian villa has been awarded 5 Stars for 10 years running and has received a Gold Award from Visit England. The villa is on the shore of the Duddon Estuary at Borwick Rails near Millom and is an ideal base from which to explore Cumbria.

Our accommodation has been beautifully decorated to the highest standards of quality and includes a blend of original features and furnishings along with modern comfort and amenities. 

An outside seating area provides space for quiet moments or a chance to cook up a family barbecue on a long, warm summer evening. For the kids there is plenty of room to play and explore safely including the Pirate Ship play area and the mini football field. The beach is just seconds away at the bottom of the garden.

The stunning scenery of the Western Lake District, carrying the marks of occupation from ancient times, inspires everyone who comes here. Landscape, heritage and community give the area a charm that few other places can match. The fells provide excellent walking, the rivers and coast are great for fishing and there’s plenty of scope for beach and water sports at both Millom and neighbouring Haverigg,
