South Allington House offers glorious guest house accommodation in the hamlet of Chivelstone. Our Grade II listed manor house is located in a beautiful valley near Kingsbridge. We are perfect for an idyllic retreat in Devon. 

Our outstanding guest house is set in lovely grounds and offers a range of elegantly furnished rooms to choose from. We have 5 en suite rooms, including a four poster bed. All the rooms contain excellent facilities: tea and coffee making facilities, TV and a hair dryer.

Breakfast is served in our large dining room. We serve a delicious full English breakfast served on the Aga. Cereal and fruit are also available and we serve homemade jams and marmalade. 

Our stunning grounds are perfect for relaxing in. We have seating available throughout the grounds. You can try your hand at croquet or tennis. Coarse fishing is also available. Lambs and ducklings can also be found in the ground at certain times of the year. 

South Allington is a hamlet nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, between Start Point and Prawle Point. It is ideally situated for the beach and scenic coastal walks. The secluded and family friendly Lannacombe Beach is a mere five minutes’ drive away.
