Grove House Hotel, Woodbridge, Ipswich, Suffolk

The Grove House Hotel is situated in the town of Woodbridge in Suffolk. The hotel is situated just a 10 minute walk away from Woodbridge’s attractive Market Hill, from where you can wander down to the boutique lined Thoroughfare, stopping for refreshments in one of the town’s olde worlde pubs before finishing your walk on the banks of the River Deben. We are a short drive from Ipswich and an ideal base for exploring Suffolk.

Our guest accommodation is run with the aim of being a 'home from home'. It consists of 10 en suite bedrooms, all individually decorated. Each room has a TV, hairdryer, plus tea and coffee making facilities. One of the downstairs bedrooms is adapted for wheelchair access and we also have a family bedroom with a separate sleeping area for children.

We serve delicious home cooked breakfasts, lunches and evening meals, using fresh local produce are served daily in a bright and airy restaurant. The licensed bar, though small and cosy, offers local beer and a selection of wines and spirits.

There is a pleasant garden at the rear of Grove House. Why not have afternoon tea in the garden - weather permitting of course!

There are so many interesting places to visit in this area. Woodbridge itself is steeped in history. Why not visit the Tide Mill on the River Deben or Buttrum’s Mill, considered to be one of England’s finest tower windmills. Sutton Hoo is just down the road and is a famous archaeological site. Just outside Woodbridge is Bentwaters, a disused American Air Base housing a Cold War Museum.
