Hawick is an old mill town, located on the river Teviot in the Scottish Borders. The town celebrates many events throughout the year: we have the Blues festival, the Reivers festival, and perhaps most famously, the Common Riding.

Described as "one of the best parties in the world," the annual Common Riding is a celebration of the ancient custom of riding the boundaries of the common land, and the capture of the English flags by young men from Hawick.
