Woodlands is a spacious self catering property with truly spectacular views located in the hamlet of Shiel Bridge close to Glenshiel in Ross-shire. The holiday cottage can sleep up to 10 people and it is a great location for those that love walking, climbing and touring. In addition to this, the size and layout of the cottage is great for large family get-togethers. Please note that pets are welcome.
The holiday cottage has a very spacious lounge with Amazon Fire TV and a well-equipped kitchen which includes:

Cafeteria.
There are 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Outside there is a timber garage that houses a pool table and dart board.
The self catering accommodation is extremely well placed for touring the Highlands and islands. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of Applecross accessed via the highest road in Scotland, or take a cruise along Loch Ness and visit Urquhart Castle.
Closer to home there is the glorious Glenelg Peninsula, the delightful Plockton or you may fancy going over the sea to Skye. Go whale watching, take a seal trip, sail in a glass-bottomed boat, go boating, pony trekking, mackerel fishing or just relax in the house and enjoy the views.

Just arrived home from Woodlands , I would highly recommend this cottage it is absolutely wonderful we went as a large family group of 6 adults 3 kids and 3 very well behaved dogs . It is a fabulous spotless cottage. Huge safe garden for the kids , beautiful back garden with fantastic view of Five Sisters of Kintail . Really great position for touring the area, and just over the bridge turn left (a 5 minute walk ) a lovely river for wild swimming. Every room in the cottage is done to a very high standard, comfy beds and beautiful bedding, the kitchen is so well equipped it's brilliant ,and all the bathrooms/toilets/ showers no messing around waiting for other people. If you are a large family or group of friends you couldn't go wrong with this cottage.
