Windmill Cottage in Milford-on-Sea, Lymington in Hampshire, provides superb self catering accommodation in an elegant Georgian style cottage. We are only 6 minutes’ walk from the village centre and the cliff and beach areas are just 3 minutes by car, making us the ideal base from which to explore the local area.
Our superb holiday home sleeps up to 5 people and is perfect for a relaxing and peaceful breakaway. All the bedrooms are fully furnished: 1 double room, a 2 single bedroom and a single room. There is also a bathroom (& shower unit) and WC. Guests can relax and unwind in our cosy sitting room/dining room which includes TV and DVD, electric fire (&/or gas central heating) and French doors to the patio and garden.
Milford-on-Sea is a delightful seaside village which provides a superb base from which to enjoy your holiday. The focal point of the village is the green and high street with its selection of interesting independent shops, local pubs and variety of restaurants. Within close reach is the sea with clean, safe beaches from which to swim and miles of shoreline offering ample walking, picnicking and cycling for all the family. There is plenty of parking. The neighbouring hamlet of Keyhaven is an ideal place for safe, fun sailing whether within the confines of the Keyhaven River, exploring the maze of inlets and creeks, or in the open water of the Solent – home of the famous Cowes regatta.
