Shropshire Holiday Cottages!

Hurst Mill Farm Cottages are three superb self catering cottages located in Clun near Craven Arms in Shropshire They are situated in superbly scenic countryside at the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with the river winding by and the hills forming a majestic back drop.

Dipper Cottage has a large lounge with dining area and open fire. The well equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, granite work tops and garden access. Also on the ground floor is a shower and toilet. A sofa bed can be added if you want to use it as a twin roomed cottage. Upstairs, there is a bathroom with hand basin, bath and toilet. There is a large bedroom with a super king size zip and link bed (double or twin).

Kingfisher Cottage features a large lounge with a dining area and open fire. There is also a piano for our more musical guests! From the well equipped kitchen there is garden access. Also on the ground floor is a shower and toilet. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms. One is a double and one is a twin. The third is a compact single dormer more suitable for a child. There is a bathroom with hand basin, bath and toilet.

Wagtail Cottage has a very large and spacious kitchen/dining room with fitted painted pine units, hob, oven and microwave. Plus a cloakroom with a toilet and washbasin, there is separate sitting room leading off it. The divided stairway leads, on one side, to a double room and bathroom with bath and washbasin. The other side leads to a twin room, bunk bedroom and shower room with shower and basin.

The town has its own museum, excellent pubs, cafes, shops and the castle. It has an antique shop featuring art exhibitions by local artists. There is a Norman parish church, a Methodist church and the historic Trinity Alms houses built in 1615 by the Earl of Northampton, brother of the Duke of Norfolk who owned Clun castle. An ancient packhorse bridge gives visitors a delightful way to cross the river Clun. All in all, a lovely place to wander and take time out.
