The Retreat Bed & Breakfast offers comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in Shaftesbury, Dorset. It is just a short distance from the Jurassic coastline and Longleat, situated in the heart of the Blackmore Vale.
Each of the individually decorated bedrooms entices you to want to stay longer than you planned, a good night’s rest in a comfortable, spotlessly clean room followed by a comprehensive English breakfast in the morning leaves you feeling great and refreshed to start your day.
All the rooms are en suite and come with a TV/DVD player and coffee making facilities. Maximum capacity when all rooms are full is 20 people.
Shaftesbury is an ancient Saxon town with many places of historic interest around and about. We keep a lot of local information available for residents to browse at their leisure, as well as having a lot of local knowledge as to where to go and what to see.
Shaftesbury has an open-air swimming pool, arts centre with theatre, several pubs, as well as two Indian restaurants, Chinese and a superb Italian and French restaurant.
