Gorgeous Glamping!
Westland Farm offers magical glamping accommodation in the village of Bratton Fleming on the edge of Exmoor National Park. Located near Barnstaple in Devon, this is a true haven for peace and quiet in a countryside setting.
You can stay in The Shepherds Hut, Drovers Hut or Yurt which are all close to a pretty babbling brook. Set amidst lush, rolling countryside in Devon, this is the perfect place for nature lovers.
Mongolian Yurt: The Mongolian yurt at the bottom of the farm is found by walking over a wooden bridge. Ideal for families, children can play by the stream or run around our 3-acre field. The yurt is lovingly furnished and comes with candles, lamps and a wood-burning to keep you warm and toasty. The yurt comes with a double bed, single and 4ft futon. All bedding is supplied. Outside the yurt is a wonderful new kitchen bothy and flushing loo. Excellent facilities in the bothy include a Belfast sink with running water, a gas hob and grill, pots and pans, cutlery and crockery for six, a BBQ, and coolbox.
The Shepherds Hut: This beautifully equipped shepherd’s hut is well equipped and comes with its own wood-fired hot tub. Fantastic facilities inside include a comfy king size bed and child bunks above with memory foam mattresses and fresh duvets, plump pillows and beautiful linen. A lovely kitchen area comes with a small sink with running water, a single gas hob, pretty china crockery, kitchen and cooking utensils. You can stay cosy in front of the wood-burning stove and the views through the stable door towards Wistlandpound Reservoir are incredible. The hut benefits from having its own fenced garden with outdoor seating and a fire pit.
Drovers Hut: The gorgeous hut, built on an ex-army ammunitions trailer, sleeps up to 6 people. Facilities include a king-size bed, single bunks and a trestle bed which pulls out under the main king-size bed. A wonderful country kitchen comes with a Belfast sink, solid oak worktop, dresser top, two-burner gas hob, a table and benches and a superb wood-burning range stove with oven and hobs above. The kitchen is well equipped and adjacent is a private bathroom with a decking area which has two gates to secure it for dogs or children. Outside there is seating, a fire pit and BBQ. Ideal for al fresco dining.
They are close to many gorgeous beaches, ancient market towns and country pubs.
