The London Inn offers excellent accommodation in the delightful village of Charlton Kings, in the suburb of Cheltenham. Based in a great part of Gloucestershire, we are only a short walk from Cheltenham town centre and a 10-minute taxi trip to Presbury Racecourse.
Originally built in the 1830s by an innkeeper, the inn now offers fantastic accommodation, wonderful food and refreshing real ales. They have 8 beautifully furnished bedrooms to choose from, with most including modern en suite facilities. Singles, doubles, twins and family rooms are available. All the rooms include a TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and ironing facilities.
You can savour a delicious meal in the restaurant, from light bites to classic homemade dinners. Dishes on offer include jumbo sausage and fries, homemade chilli, fragrant curry and battered cod. They also offer a hearty Sunday carvery.
They have a gorgeous south facing garden with seating, a lovely spot for a drink or two when the sun is shining. In the winter months, unwind in the lounge and main bar areas which offer freshly grounded coffee, cake or lite bites, as well as a full range of beers, accredited Cask Marques cask ales and a wide range of gins. Enjoy a range of pub games including darts, pool and skittles. You can also catch any live sports on the TV which has BT and Sky.
A brilliant function room is available to hire for a fee and includes a dance floor. This is great for birthdays, weddings, christenings and meetings, with a capacity for 100 people.
Lots of superb attractions are in the local area, including the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway, a glorious 14-mile heritage railway covering the beautiful English Cotswolds. See the amazing architecture at Montpellier District in the centre of Cheltenham or catch a show at the Everyman Theatre.
