Ridge Farm Camping & Caravan Park in Wareham, Dorset, is a charming family-run site, offering pitches for campers and tourers on a small working farm. The peaceful setting makes it a perfect choice for a memorable rural getaway.
The site provides both non-electric standard pitches and electric pitches on level grass grounds. The clean facilities ensure a comfortable stay for all visitors. Dogs are welcome, but arrangements need to be made in advance, and the pitch charge includes accommodation for one car and up to two people.
Please note that Ridge Farm Camping & Caravan Park caters to families, couples, and solo travellers only, as group bookings are not accepted. Private cars are allowed, but large vans or commercial vehicles are not permitted. BBQs must be raised off the ground for safety reasons.
Facilities on-site include an onsite shop, toilet block with free showers, laundrette, and battery charging freezer facilities.
The site's strategic position allows guests to explore the surrounding area with ease. Surrounded by two nature reserves and just 3 miles from Corfe Castle, it offers a perfect opportunity for nature enthusiasts to delve into the local wonders. The beautiful Studland and Swanage are within a 10-mile radius, and the area offers plenty of walking and cycling routes, as well as excellent birdwatching opportunities. Additionally, visitors can explore the Tank Museum and Monkey World in Bovington for an enriching experience.
