Waldegraves Holiday Park in Mersea Island offers luxury caravans, touring and camping pitches, based in a stunning coastal position. Our park near Colchester is in a lovely area of Essex, the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.
We offer a range of electric and nonelectric pitches, plus hardstanding for motorhomes and caravans. The serviced pitches are suitable for tours, tents and motorhomes. All the serviced pitches have water points and electric hook up. Fire pits and BBQ are welcome. There are shower facilities and you can buy essentials from The Wheatgrain Shop.
You can stay in one of our luxury caravans, with gold and platinum options available. All the holiday homes can sleep up to 6 people in a master room and 2 twin rooms, plus a sofa bed in the lounge. Each caravan has a fully-equipped kitchen with a range of appliances: gas oven, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. Wheelchair and pet-friendly accommodation are available.
Facilities onsite include UK footgolf, crazy golf, coarse fishing lakes, boating lake, Granary restaurant, The Barn Sports Bar and Wheatsheaf Clubhouse, outdoor seating with bar and stage, The Courtyard Takeaway, playgrounds and sports area and a heated outdoor swimming pool.
We also have a pitch and putt and driving range, Funzone, mobile phone charging, electric vehicle charging, launderette, boat/bet ski launching facilities, car boot sales and local events.
Our holiday park is ideally placed for exploring Mersea Island. Take a tour of Mersea Island Vineyard or unwind on West Mersea Beach. Learn about the Bronze Age at Mersea Museum or enjoy day crabbing with the family. Golf and fishing are available.
