Lower Farm Bed & Breakfast offers fabulous guest house accommodation in the quaint village of Barnwell. We are nestled away in a gorgeous countryside setting on a small arable farm. Our guest house is great for a tranquil escape but also a brilliant base for exploring Peterborough and a variety of attractions in Northamptonshire.
We have 10 beautiful ground-floor bedrooms available which enjoy delightful views over the central courtyard. Based in the farm’s old stables and milking parlour, the rooms now offer quality accommodation to suit all your needs. Excellent facilities in all the rooms include: en suite facilities, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with Freeview, tea and coffee tray, luxury beds, pillows and duvets, hair dryers and heating via a thermostatic control. Rooms available include:
9 double/twin en suite bedrooms.
1 single en suite bedroom.
One of our twins is disabled-friendly and has a walk-in wet room.
Six of our rooms have adjoining doors to accommodate family bookings.
In the morning, tuck into our fantastic farmhouse breakfast, including locally sourced sausages, bacon and free-range eggs. Whether it’s avocado with bacon and poached eggs or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, we have something for everyone. Vegetarian, gluten or dairy free breakfasts are also available.
Only 3 miles away is Oundle, one of the oldest market towns in England and home to charming independent shops, galleries and a museum. 12 miles away is Stamford where you will find Burghley House, one of England’s most stunning Elizabethan houses.
