Gorgeous Glamping!

Enchanted Valley Yurts is nestled beneath the 'Giants Hedge' near Looe in Cornwall. Discovered nine years ago, this magical valley has since been dedicated to sharing its peaceful charm with visitors. The glamping site is located on fields managed for wildlife on a small farm, which is home to a delightful herd of woolly llamas, donkeys, horses, and chickens.

The traditional Mongolian yurt, lined with wool and featuring a log-burning stove, provides a warm and cosy retreat. Additionally, another yurt has been transformed into a beautiful octagonal cabin, offering a unique and memorable experience.

Pheasant Lodge

This spacious and warm octagonal cabin is closest to the kitchen and bathroom facilities. Positioned in a sunny spot with its front door and seating area facing the evening sunset, it sleeps up to five people with a king-sized bed, daybed, and futons. The lodge features solar-powered lighting, USB charge points, and its own chiminea table and chairs on the decking.

Owl Yurt

Offering more seclusion, Owl Yurt is situated across a small stream with a bridge leading back to the kitchen cabin and shower facilities. This cosy 19ft yurt sleeps up to five people on a double bed, futons, and an extending daybed. It is fully furnished with a log burner for cooler evenings and solar-powered lighting with fairy lights for a magical ambience. The decking includes a table, chairs, and a wood-burning chiminea to keep guests warm as the sun sets.

The Log Cabin

The log cabin, a short distance from the yurt and lodge, features a fully fitted kitchen with a range cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, and freezer, along with all necessary pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery. There are tables and chairs for rainy days, as well as games, pens, and crayons for entertainment. Outside, guests can enjoy a wood-burning pizza oven, barbecue, seating, and campfire area for relaxing sunny days and evenings. In the neighbouring log cabin, there are shower rooms and flushing toilets for each yurt and lodge. The hot water is heated by solar panels backed up by gas, ensuring it never runs out.

The Area

For everyday supplies, the village of Lanreath offers a community-run shop and post office selling local produce and essentials. It is within walking distance, though up a steep hill. For larger supplies, there is a Spar shop in Pelynt, a Co-op in Looe, and major supermarkets in Liskeard and Bodmin.

The location is in a beautiful area with many walks and trails to explore. Locally, visitors can walk to Porfell Wildlife Park and Animal Sanctuary, home to exotic animals from around the world. For more challenging walks, Bodmin Moor and the scenic coastal path leading to picturesque coves and beaches are excellent options.
