Scenic Countryside Escape!
Sunnyhill Campsite is a small, independent campsite located on the Somerset/Dorset border. Situated in a tranquil setting, it is perfect for unwinding and enjoying the peaceful countryside with stunning views.
The campsite offers seven hard-standing pitches and four grass pitches, all equipped with electric hook-ups (EHU), arranged in a crescent overlooking the valley, woodland, and rural landscape towards Alfred's Tower.
The Shepherd's Hut themed mini lodge, which includes a log-fuelled hot tub, sleeps four. It features a Belfast sink, a king-size bunk, two singles, an under-counter fridge, and an electric heater. This accommodation boasts a fantastic view.
Additionally, the campsite has a six-berth yurt with a caravan kitchen and a five-berth bell tent with its own caravan kitchen.
For larger groups, all accommodations, including bell tents, yurts, the shepherd's hut, and a gypsy wagon, along with campervan and tent spaces, can be hired, accommodating up to 75 guests. This includes exclusive use of guest facilities, such as hot tubs, camper kitchens, fire pits, and picnic tables.
Sunnyhill Campsite also features a pop-up bar and café at the weekends, with music on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the summer months.
The area offers an abundance of fishing spots, including Coking Farm, Higher Farm, Todbur Manor, and Shearwater Lakes. Only a 45-minute drive away are Stonehenge, Longleat, and Glastonbury, while Wincanton Racecourse is just a 10-minute drive away.
