Penthouse Apartment!

Craster Tower Apartment occupies the entire top floor of the historic Craster Tower, a Grade 2 country house centred around a 14th-century Pele Tower. Recently refurbished, it offers elegantly furnished accommodations with stunning views in every direction.

The east wing sitting room spans the full width of the house and offers extensive views, particularly to the east over the sea. It comfortably seats eight people and features a log-burning stove, a 55-inch Smart TV equipped with BT Sport, Freeview, Netflix, and a DVD player. Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment.

Upstairs, the Gothic-style drawing room boasts a large west-facing window, comfortable seating, a grand piano, and an installed sound system. There is also a children's room complete with a flat-screen TV, DVD player, and Xbox.

The spacious kitchen includes a dining table for eight, an electric range cooker, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, and a corner sofa for company during meal preparation.

The apartment has four bedrooms: a master bedroom with a king-size canopy bed, two twin rooms (one facing east, the other south), and a versatile twin/double room with an interconnecting door to the master bedroom. Additional features include a family bathroom, a luxurious small bathroom with sea views, and a separate shower room.

Outside, guests have access to a garden furnished with outdoor seating, a built-in BBQ, a tennis court, and a trampoline.

The picturesque fishing village of Craster is a short walk away, accessed via woods and fields. Its charming horseshoe-shaped harbour, built in memory of the Craster family, dates back to the 12th century. While its fishing industry now focuses on crabs and lobsters, the village remains famous for its Craster kippers, thanks to the Robson family's smokehouse established in 1905. Coastal walks from Craster offer dramatic scenery, including a path leading to Dunstanburgh Castle. Nearby attractions include Alnwick Castle (7 miles away), Warkworth Castle, Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, and the Farne Islands. The area is known for its superb beaches, water sports, and excellent opportunities for ramblers, birdwatchers, and golfers, with five courses within a 20-minute drive.
