Mousehole itself is a quintessential Cornish fishing village, beloved for its winding streets, charming net lofts, and a vibrant array of galleries, pubs, and cafes. It was once described by Dylan Thomas as “the loveliest village in England.” The nearby beaches of Porthcurno and Sennen, along with the bustling town of Penzance just three miles away, offer further exploration opportunities. Penzance also serves as the departure point for the Scillonian ferry to the Isles of Scilly.
