Lavenham itself is one of the best-preserved medieval villages in England, offering a wealth of attractions within walking distance. Visitors can also enjoy several traditional pubs serving locally brewed beers, as well as excellent restaurants offering both local and European cuisine.
The location makes it easy to explore beyond the village too, with various parts of the Suffolk coast just an hour’s drive away. The nearby market town of Bury St Edmunds provides further opportunities for shopping, dining and sightseeing.
