The accommodation includes a choice of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, as well as the spacious four-bedroom Sharmalyn House. All are set within landscaped gardens and benefit from a private path leading directly to the beach. Many of the properties include balconies offering superb views of the sea and coastline, while interiors are fully furnished and well equipped to a high standard.
Sharmalyn House, sleeping up to eight guests, is designed with families and larger groups in mind. It includes two double bedrooms with en-suite facilities, a twin room and a bunk bedroom, each with its own washbasin. The spacious ‘L’ shaped lounge and dining area is complemented by a distinctive blue slate fireplace and opens onto a private south-facing terrace. The property also includes a fully equipped kitchen, utility room and multiple WCs for added convenience.
Apartment 7, located on the second floor, accommodates four guests with one double and one twin bedroom. It has been recently refurbished and offers panoramic views of the sea from the lounge. Apartment 6, also on the second floor, sleeps six and is divided into two self-contained sections. The front section includes a lounge, dining area, kitchen and double bedroom with en-suite, while the rear section offers two additional bedrooms and a separate bathroom.
Apartment 5 sleeps four and has also been recently refurbished. It includes a king-size bedroom with en-suite, a second flexible bedroom with twin or king-size option and en-suite, plus a spacious lounge with sea and countryside views. Apartment 4, a first-floor property, also sleeps four and offers sea views from every room, a balcony, a double bedroom with en-suite, a twin room, a lounge with Ercol furniture and a family bathroom.
The location of Yellow Sands makes it an excellent base for exploring Cornwall. Guests can enjoy walks along the coastal path, sea fishing, pleasure cruises and cycling along the Camel Trail. With Padstow and its famous harbour only a short drive away, visitors can also explore its independent shops, restaurants and historic sites.
